About me
I like software that feels obvious to use and stays easy to change.
I am a software developer working mostly on the web: React and TypeScript on the front, Node and Go on the back, PostgreSQL underneath. I enjoy the whole path from a rough idea on a whiteboard to a deploy I trust on a Friday.
Before writing code full time I studied computer science and spent a long time building small tools for friends, clubs and local shops. That habit stuck. I still start every project by asking who will use it tomorrow morning and what will annoy them.
Away from the keyboard I play piano badly and often, which is where this site comes from. Practice taught me the same thing code reviews did: small, steady repetitions beat heroic weekends.
